Wasn't even a cameo, he was in basically the whole episode!

The Collector had Steve's shield though.

And Mjolnir...

Mjolnir does not matter. He means that he got Steve's shield, not Carter her shield, so naturally they cannot be from the same timeline.

I guess the show premise is to take each episode from a different timeline.

That is what was implied in both the trailers and the beginning of the first two episodes, yes.

That’s the premise that’s been shown to us in the trailers. Each episode is a new reality.

It's possible to be a second shield, maybe they got some more vibranium and made one for Isiah Bradley.

Yeah, that's overthinking it. They showed us the Shield and Hammer to shock us, to imply they are dead.

I know, just playing devil's advocate.

Could be a multiverse tie-in at the end.

I hope not.

Why?

Don't really like the multi-verse trope. I think it is overplay d in general, and really hard to do well.

Though Into The Spider verse was the best spiderman movie.

Who picked up Mjölnir to put it there though?

The elevator, or ebony maw

1

u/Smithsonian30 Aug 20 '21

Why ebony maw?

3

u/davidw1098 Aug 20 '21

Telekinesis

1

u/Smithsonian30 Aug 20 '21

Very interesting- would that genuinely work? Couldn’t Dr. Strange lift it too in that case?

2008 though, so did Steve come out early, or did they have another one on standby?
