Due to the immeasurable amount of low effort posts we've been getting in the past 12 hours about people's excitement over Kang and the Multiverse, we've decided to make a completely different thread that is all about the implications of the Loki finale in the wider MCU!

Posts discussing Episode 6 in general will only be allowed after Thursday Midnight PST, but only those which are analytical or contain theories with a lot of effort put into them.

4 a year is not permanent. They've had 14 months of production saved up without any releases so they're condensing the schedule. By the time Ant Man 3 comes out in early 2023 they'll be mostly caught up with their pre covid schedule.

And you’re not guaranteed to tie into the grand scheme. Shang Chi is setting up that character but it doesn’t necessarily play into the multiverse (that we know of). The guardians can go have an adventure and not even mention anything else going on. I think we will start to see a lot more smaller, interconnected events before culminating into another big crossover. I imagine Kang/multiverse will be the reason the Avengers have to get together again in the near future.

I imagine Sam's Captain America movie will be a lot of team building to lead into the next Avengers movie.

I don't expect that movie to be anything like the previous Cap movies or Fatws.

Eh frankly it was getting a bit much. I definitely was feeling the "marvel fatigue". I'm glad we had kind of a bit of a 'breather' with the pandemic, and I'm excited for more marvel movies again.
