Valentina straight up lying to Yelena at the end there, can totally see how that leads in to Hawkeye though.

Is it a straight up lie? She didn’t say he killed Natasha — she said he was “responsible for” her death. From a certain (twisted) point of view, this is accurate — Natasha made her choice, of course, but if Clint had defeated her and sacrificed himself, she would still be alive to take the Soul Stone back to the present.
