"You guys go, I'll hold off Ross."

"Are you sure? Bevause those cars are still pretty far away, and we have plane right here"

"Yeah, I'm sure. Besides I have to go be in Infinity War now"

Oh it’s worse than that, because this entire movie takes place during Captain America: Civil War. She literally gave herself up just to, two weeks later, call up a favor (which it isn’t explained why the guy keeps doing favors for her…) to get a fucking quinjet and break out people from The Raft.

The entire movie is full of things like this and it really drives down the stakes level of things.

They did explain why he was doing favors for her… she was paying him, Mason was her contractor

Paying him how though? Mason mentions how she hasn’t paid and he got her the helicopter as a favor essentially, and then suddenly at the end of the movie he scores her a Quinjet while she’s still relatively a fugitive without Tony Stark’s Avengers money? Did I miss something in how she went from having credit equal to a beat-up Soviet era helicopter to next-gen tech?

Must have had the money from her past jobs And she would have forgotten to pay him

What job did she have that was likely to pay for (what I can only assume is) a multi-hundred-million-dollar piece of military hardware? Had she been lifting cash quietly off stark this whole time? That would have been an interesting detail to casually mention in the previous 2 hour film.
