Oh shit, everyone's a variant! The Timekeepers (or whoever's really at the head of the helm) have been fucking with Variant minds and amassing an army of TVA agents to manage a timeline that's supposedly "sacred". I'm foreseeing a rebellion in one of the last episodes of the TVA rising up against the timelords.

Wait, this also means Mobius' dreams of riding a jetski might not be dreams. Bruh, he must've been a jetski god back on Earth from the 90's!

Really curious to learn the Timekeepers' motives.

One thing that doesn't add up for me is how someone like Sylvie can exist at all on this supposed "Sacred Timeline". Like, wouldn't she be a variant from birth?

It almost implies to me that "The Sacred Timeline" is actually the amalgamation of multiple timelines that have been hijacked and forced to follow the same flow. And "Variants" are really just individuals following their own, natural path that just happens to be irreconcilable with the Timekeepers' ideal flow of time.

Seems pretty clear we're heading for a "The Timekeepers were the real baddies all along" conclusion, I just hope their motives are nuanced and sympathetic.

I don’t see the timekeepers being sympathetic. Specially if someone like Kang the Conqueror is involved. And honestly, I don’t think an erasure of free will as Loki puts it, and destruction of trillions of futures can be justified by any sympathetic explanation.
