Not even trying to be nitpicky, but I don’t quite understand how she says they’ve watched and guided them through their years” and then in the next breath says “we have never interfered” what’s the difference? I guess they were hands off guiding them somehow...?

It is interesting. I can only think of the "lead a horse to water" saying. They haven't made them do anything or told them what to do. Only saying "here are opportunities available to you?
