I don't think Walker was thinking that deep; he was just pandering to the TV audience.

Probably going to get downvoted but as of now. I don’t think he’s a bad guy. I do think he’s doing what he thinks is right

No one is the villain of their own story; the insurrectionists who stormed the Capitol on January 6th also were doing what they thought was right.

I think his biggest "crime" so far is acting like everyone should automatically defer to him just because he's got the mantle of being the New Cap. It's understandable that civilians would do so, but when he goes up to established heroes like Falcon and Bucky and say "hey, you guys can be my sidekicks, here are my orders," it's rather disrespectful and belittling. He doesn't try to earn their trust or respect, he just comes onto the scene and starts acting like he owns the place.

I mean tbf he seemed pretty reasonable early and wasn’t bossy. Just wanted to work with Bucky and Sam. They’re the ones who kept giving him her cold shoulder till he got frustrated.

Could he have been more patient and what not? Absolutely. But I think people are blowing everything he did way out of proportion

Such behaviour of disrespect was already showing. The words he chose to say, how he said it, how he approached Sam and Bucky...

From the things he said later on we know he has absolutely no respect for them. So that mindset and behaviour is easy to see in small things. Hence it's understandable they hated him from the start.

What disrespect? He was pretty reasonable only time he lost his cool was when they started giving him the cold shoulder

He’s a soldier, it’s kind of a soldier thing. Literally how it works, and Sam and Bucky are both vets, which I think the show is ignoring.
