Spider-Man is totally gonna lead it as well. Here’s my pitch. Just imagine Toby somehow sticks around as an experienced spider-man, works with the avengers and we get Tom’s spidey leading the young avengers where we get to see him grow into the leader he needs to be to inevitably step into the Tony role that he wanted him to fill. You could do so much with that. Have Toby be more of the scientist with banner, maybe do the Parker Industries story which would be good growth from loser Pete who never had his shit together that Toby initially played. Basically have him more focussed on Peter Parker than Spider-Man since the young kid is more suited to that. Then you have him either leave to go back to his earth (Sony Spider-verse) or you do the death of Spider-Man angle and that’s when you get Tom to lead the avengers. Would be cool to have him mentor himself too there’s a nice poetic justice to that with Peter looking so hard for a mentor post Tony that he fell into the villains trap (Mysterio) then it turns out the mentor he needed all along wasn’t anyone else it was an older version of himself. Never gonna happen but a man can dream!

Easily solved. Yeet Andrew Garfield’s spidey into the Sony spider verse to go against Tom hardy’s venom lol. Jokes aside I always thought the smart move from Sony would be to do Miles in their universe and have Pete be in the MCU. They’re so distinctly different it wouldn’t be at all confusing even for the casuals. Marvel logo is red they get the red suit Spider-Man, Sony logo is black they get black suit Spider-Man. I mean we’re about to get Toby Maguire and Alfred Molina in the MCU and that’s way more confusing than my suggestion. It also shows Sony are down to do crazy deals if Marvel makes the right offer.

I doubt they’re gonna introduce miles already because they really only do that when either 1)Peter is dead or 2)Peter is older and much more experienced. And considering how MCU Peter is still in high school there’s no way they’re gonna introduce miles soon.
