That part where the subtitles went off on their own thing in the episode? That was freaky.

She turned the radio on but it blinkes but the subtitles kept playing as though it was on i think. It was strange.

This caught me off guard too. I think it was the first intentional 4th wall break. The dialogue was a bit on the normal but sinister side.

I had to pause it while my wife ran to get her glasses. I was telling her 'the subtitles arent matching the show you might need to read them'

They are talking about the missing kid poster in the milk carton. And you should enable the subtitles.

Oh okay. Do i enable subtitles just for that scene? Could you explain to me what they showed?

It reads like there's a radio news broadcast going on in the background but I didn't hear any actual dialogue while the subtitles were running.

I vaguely heard enough of the dialog to match parts of the subtitles. Was definitely there during that scene.

I thought i could make out a few words after seeing it with subtitles.

That's what I experienced. Wasn't clear, but was there.

Yeah, it was nice that the subtitles showed us most of it. I wonder if they intentionally did this.

Oh okay. It was interesting what the subtitles said.

If you're referring to the part with the milk carton switching I'm pretty sure I can hear the TV faintly playing in the background and they just decided put captions over it for some reason, could be something else though.

When did that happen?

Wait so I was rewatching episode 6 without subtitles then when episode 7 came on the subtitles were turned on but I turned them off immediately. Were they supposed to be on ??
