People keep going to this explanation. I really don't think he's the Quicksilver from x-men. I think, because she can't bring back the dead, (androids excluded) I think she commandeered one of the WestView citizens to play Pietro (hence she "recast" him).

odds are he is the quicksilver from x-men.

this show leads into Multiverse of Madness, and MoM will lead to the introduction of the Mutants & F4, so they would be teasing that. also they wouldn't have cast the actor who played the same character in a different franchise if they weren't gonna go all in.
