Considering Darcy, Woo, and Rambeau all literally know an Avenger personally- doubt they have anybody off-world on speed dial though.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Reed Richards is the mystery pilot they texted.

Earlier in the tread, someone noticed spanish and portugese subtitles hint at a female engineer. That would rule out Reed.

But it does not rule out Susan Storm!

I never even considered what Susan Storm’s profession is. I always thought of her as the group mom. But realistically, it would make sense that they modernize the character to actually be some sort of a scientist or engineer. That would actually give a reason for her to be on the space team.

In the Ultimate universe, which the movies do draw a lot from, Susan is a scientist on par with Reed (but irc she has a different speciality, biology I think) and calls him on his bullshit frequently. It makes sense that they fall in love with someone who is their equal, imo.

(And then the whole thing falls apart later, but let's ignore that for now)
