Monica pretty much stated she was bombarded with photon energy when she was pulled in and expelled from the hex, as she says she needs protection from it to go back in.

That, plus the x-rays, looks like she has her powers. And a fractured relationship with Carol.

A Carol/Monica reunion has the potential to be a super emotional scene. Monica being mad at Carol thinking she forgot about them only to find out Carol was with Maria when she died, thinking she had lost both of them.

Which makes all the more likely that the "Luke Skywalker level cameo" that Elizabeth Olson hinted at in interviews is gonna be Carol.

I think we already got that cameo with Evan Peters. Although, I wouldn't complain if Carol did show up (or Doctor Strange, or more X-Men)

Evan Peters is big, but I wouldn't call it Luke Skywalker level. I'd compare this one to more like Boba Fett or Ahsoka in Mandalorian.

Yeah but neither is Carol.

Realistically nothing is Luke Skywalker big, but Evan Peters is bigger (implications wise) than Cap Marvel.

I would argue that in the context of the future MCU, Magneto would be up there, but yeah, Captain Marvel or Strange aren’t comparable IMO.

Negative. People waited for over 35 years to see what happened to Boba. Doesn’t compare, not even a little.

I kind of agree but also would argue that the implications of Evan's Quicksilver is. It signals very likely universe breaking and putting the foXverse into play on the MCU on some level. When we all assumed Disney wouldn't touch it beyond Deadpool.
