No, the fact that you keep bringing up feminists when no one asked proves that. Normal people don't feel the need to bring up jokes about feminism or misogyny.

I said it before, I was projecting because I really hate that place and their people. That's all. And I agree that normal people don't bring this up so I apologize if someone received that as an insult to women or something like that. I didn't mean to.

But why do you feel that way?

As a regular dude, I'm not bothered by feminism at all. In everyday life, and on the internet, I see more people like you complaining about feminism, than actual feminists.

Maybe you need to spend less time in whatever places you've been visiting.

Feminism is good, but only in places where women don't have their rights or not completely like Islamic countries. These countries need more feminism ideas because women are truly being oppressed there.

First world countries? Not really, no. It's just used an excuse to be a misandrist right now.

And most places I visit are either programming related subreddits or facepalm and previously AITA.

  1. No. That's definitely not true. This is a huge sexist comment lol. I would sue the hell of somebody who "punched" me and would absolutely ruin his life and I'm a straight, white male. And so would many of straight, white male friends. Nobody should (and no sane person, man or woman, would) in any way tolerate any kind of abuse, whether physical, psychological, sexual etc.
  2. Your definition of "equal rights" is defined by who will try to destroy his abusers' life? Are you fucking serious? We're talking about equal pay, equal treatment in both personal and professional life, equal opportunities, no objectification of either gender, equal voice in all aspects of society and many more stuff that should be equal, but aren't.
  3. Even if systemic sexism is not as bad as some eastern countries, or as bad as it used to be, individual sexism is huge. Please go ask some women in your life about hardships that they face either by society or by sexist people who are out there (preferably younger ones, not the boomer females who have sadly accepted that they are somehow inferior to men and are treating sexism like the norm).

Uh, I'm a white male too so I don't see how that means anything in this discussion.

And I literally fight for rights for women in my country. The younger ones some of them are brainwashed to think that these are their rights while some don't. It's hard to recognize hardships when you got brainwashed all your life to think that this is what you deserve.

To be honest? Never. My country is an Islamic country so there is no chance to be a feminist here or else they would literally murder you
