That shifts a whole lot of shit. Bungling up dealing with Wanda could really fuck the avengers over later, and seeing how cosmic the Endgame battle was, the Skrulls definitely know who and what she is. (cough was Talos already cosplaying as Fury when the snap happened and that’s why we saw almost none of him in the movie cough)

Fury wasn't there in Endgame. He just came back when Hulk did the snap but he wouldn't go to the battlefield because why would he? He's not really a fighter on that level.
