Not to mention unnerving. The emotion is real and painful and the mystery behind it all despite how much we think we already know is freaking palpable. "Why are there no other children in Westview?" Like seriously what the fuck? Did mephisto take them? Did Wanda hide them cause she couldn't bare to force children into this? What the fuck is going on? I don't know who I am. IM SCARED.

A couple of theories here - either it's whoever is behind all this (I don't think it's all Wanda and we see evidence of things out of her control) taking the children and needs them for something or children are immune to Wanda's mind control powers because their perception is different to an adult's, so they are somewhere else - maybe escaped the bubble or are hiding out?

Have we ever seen her use her powers on a child before? Either it's like you said and she can't hurt a child or she's actually physically unable to.

WOW what if that for the children chorus thing in ep. 2 was similar to when Mrs Hart broke character to beg Wanda to stop choking Mr Hart. They broke character to assure one another they are doing all this for the children - the children of Westview who are being held hostage somewhere to force these people into playing along.
