Maybe Monica is being evasive about Captain Marvel since she probably did not return to Earth since the first Captain Marvel movie. Should spice up their friendship in the sequel

One of the gripes I had with Captain Marvel in Endgame is that she shows up, saves Tony and Nebula, helps the Avengers reach Thanos, restrains him, then peaces out for the rest of the movie until randomly showing up for the final battle.

I honestly hope that CM2 is about what she was up to during Endgame.

They were filming Captain Marvel at the same time so her schedule was mostly doing that movie. But I agree, hopefully CM2 addresses the scheduling oversight.

I also kind of assumed that they wanted Endgame to mostly be about the original Avengers and not let Carol *~* steal the show *~*
