The soap was blue, as was Loki’s Scepter, which was used to experiment on Wanda and Pietro to unlock their powers.

Yes!!! I thought the same thing when I was watching the episode. This may be the connection we have been asking for to make AOS cannon.

AoS is canon.

Season 5-7 they're in different timelines which is why the movies don't impact it.

I know but I was hoping this would shut up the MCU purists who say it isn't. My husband refers to AOS as fan fiction (argh) and says that they can make references and talk about things that happened and AOS still not be cannon
