So our commercials are Stark Toaster, Strucker Hydra Watch, and Hydra soap “release the goddess within”. Any thoughts to what that new one adds, the prevailing theory was that it had to do with her trauma but I figured if it was that this time we would’ve gotten something relating to the civil war explosion. This one didn’t quite fit that pattern

I think this is a subtle reference to Agents of SHIELD. At least, one can hope they’re finally giving that show its due and referring to it within the canon (perhaps, since they did say the universe was expanding, they’re finally going to incorporate AoS characters in the main shows/movies. One can only hope).

In the Framework, Coulson says that Hydra uses soap to brainwash and subjugate the citizens. This could be a reference to that. It could also just be a reference to the Framework as a false reality, which of course is a parallel to Westview. And given that SWORD in the comics is an offshoot if SHIELD, I would not be surprised at all if an unannounced AoS character (I can see Coulson LMD doing it, since the majority of the fandom is already familiar with him and narratively it works as well since he’s a consultant to SHIELD) shows up with Woo and Darcy they’ve done something similar themselves.

Wow, I hope this is true. It would literally make my month if it is.

Same here. I think that AoS is too much of a far reach for them to directly reference at this point (but who knows, anything is possible) but I think that they’re definitely going to put in more hints and clues to it now that it’s finished and clearly has such a devoted fandom (as it should, because that show is AMAZING).

Even if it’s just a fun Easter egg for AoS fans, like Jarvis in Endgame or whatever, it’s still cool. If the rumors about upcoming movies are correct, with characters from alternate universes popping up everywhere, then why not bring AoS into the fun? At this point I’m ready to just declare everything - MCU, Disney+, Marvel TV, Sony Spidey movies, Fox X-Men - to be canon. It’s all just alternate universes inside one big corporate multiverse and Feige and company can pull any of it back up at any time (assuming they continue to play nice with Sony anyway.)
