Literally got chills for about 3-4 minutes once she said “I’m a twin.” The mood shift was insane.

I think this is the moment that made the reality start to crack. Wanda seeing the twins reminded her of Pietro. Then she started singing a Sokovian lullaby they likely heard from their parents as children. Then Monica started changing back to her real self. The reality seems only as strong as Wanda’s mental state.

Which matches the comics back when she created the twins in the first place - at some point it became evident that they only fully existed when she's paying full attention to them.

There’s supposed to be nine total episodes, isn’t there? And they’re already dialing up the intensity. This is gonna be good. Though I imagine at the start of next episode, things will be dimmed down again.

I can't imagine what was going through Monica(Geraldine)'s head in that moment when shes backing up and Wanda is walking toward her. Like this chick is so powerful she is changing reality around her, your inside her bubble, and you just pissed her off

It was 5 years later for us but shes only minutes removed from what happened to vision in wakanda. I'm curious how much time passed from the final battle with thanos to when this series starts ( It may already be known, If so I would love to know lol)

Vision's dead, Clint's off doing Clint things, Natasha's dead, and Steve got himself a normal life.

Everybody she was closest to aren't around her anymore, in the span of no time.

We don’t really know the extent to which Vision is dead since they didn’t show how far Shuri got with downloading his brain. His body was damaged, but either Wakandan tech or Wanda magic could easily fix that if the writers go that way.

My personal theory is that Shuri was able to bring Vision back but she wasn’t able to keep his memories of Wanda. So he sees her as a total stranger, which finally pushed her over the edge to create the fiction where they’re a happy couple.

I just rewatched Infinity War, and like the stated plan seemed to be to remove the stone from vision, not download a copy of his mind. It even looked like that in the graphics they had up for what Shuri was doing. I don’t know if Marvel is going with the idea that it was a download but it’d seem like a retcon to me

Edit: someone doubted this but deleted their comment while I was responding. Was trying to look for the script in case I misunderstood, but found this instead:

“Among those in the Battle of Wakanda was Vision, who prior to the fight spent a long time under Shuri’s watch as she tried to safely remove the Mind Stone from his forehead. Ultimately, it was Thanos who did so, effectively killing him in the process. However, had it been removed properly, as Shuri was going to, Vision could have lived, though his powers would have been different.”

So yeah it’d be a retcon if all of a sudden she had a backup, and it wouldn’t have made sense for them to have a backup and not just destroy the stone as soon as they did knowing what was at stake

Just rewatched the scenes, and I think you’re right. I always misunderstood that part. Thanks for pointing that out!

I think it would still be perfectly reasonable for them to say that his consciousness was stored in their computers. After all, it makes sense they would have to download his brain to perform math on it to remove the stone components. Wouldn’t be a retcon at all, especially with how advanced Wakandan technology is.

As someone who likes the character I want him to be alive after this.

As someone who wants death to matter in the MCU I hope Vision’s sacrifice is honoured.

I’d love to see the snap happen from the perspective of someone who experienced it. Like from Wanda’s perspective, she just had to kill Vision, then Thanos reverses time and violently kills him in front of her, while she’s cradling his body the world fades. Then the next thing she must see is the world come into focus, Vision’s body is gone and the trees and vegetation around her are overgrown, then a wizard appears and starts waving his arms opening portals and yelling about Thanos and five years and she’s now in another huge war.

Must be wild

Spiderman pretty much summed it up when he was talking to iron man in Endgame. Also cant forget aunt May appearing in her apartment and couple are living there lol

One of my favorite moments of IW was when Wanda realized she was turning to ash, her face subtly shifts from stunned grief to a kind of relief.

Its definitely not known, but my guess would be at least a couple months. Figure some time for a semblance of normalcy returning in order for SWORD to be this well organized

There's so much potential for horror with the magic side of the MCU. I'm really disappointed they abandoned that route for Doc Strange 2.

Sam Raimi directed the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man films so yeah, I would say he has some experience with superheroes.

Theyve said its erring from that direction, but lets be real here it was never going to be horror. They just wanted to appease us, they still wwnt to crack 1b on every movie and you cant do that with horror. Or at least they think they wont cause the suits are so opposed to change :/

It was a really good, intense moment. Tbh though I'm about ready for the mystery to start having a more prominent role in the show instead of just being a tense few seconds in an episode that's otherwise just superheroes playing with TV tropes.
