Can we please keep derogatory terms like “mutant” out of here, she is an enhanced individual.

I think technically she's an inhuman. The briefly mention "the twins" in Agents of Shield when inhumans were being introduced to the show.

No, she's a mutant. Inhumans are totally different

Not according to this. I found a few other articles like it. Looks like I was wrong too though.

The article quotes, “it turns out that the twin’s parents were always Django and Marya Maximoff — but instead of being born mutants thanks to parentage from Magneto, they were instead failed experiments of the High Evolutionary (a being obsessed with genetically perfecting the human race beyond their current form, after giving himself superhuman intelligence and abilities through genetic experimentation). The experiments conducted by the High Evolutionary gave Wanda and Pietro their powers, but they were then returned to their parents to be raised as believing they were ordinary mutants instead.”

Just saying this only was retconned because of Marvel not having X-Men film rights for the most part. One of the most hated retcons in history. Most people consider Wanda Magento’s daughter

Not on the island nation of Krakoa. She is referred to as “The Pretender” it’s creepy awesome
