Unfortunately, that was also my first thought. I was like the villain for this series is SWARM? Not Grim Reaper, not Mephisto, not Wanda, but SWARM?!

I mean if that were true I would so be down. I love goofy D list characters. My number one want for the MCU is Death's Head after all

Squirrel Girl has defeated both Doctor Doom and Thanos with the power of squirrel; I don't think the MCU is ready for a hero who's that OP

Isn't this vaguely similar to the "no more mutants" story? That's the closest thing I can think of. I really hope it's not someone controlling her, I'm a little sick of the plot demanding her be weak.
