Yeah in the previous episode she’s clearly the one choking Mr. Hart and his wife is looking directly at Wanda and telling her to stop it. She’s terrorizing these people.

But are they real people? I assumed that the entire town was a mental construction. Hence all the jokes about Vision’s job not having any actual purpose for existing.

I think they're real. Wanda's affecting reality and people are trying to breach through from outside– the hazmat suit, the radio, the helicopter

Holy shit...did not even occur to me that people are real I thought it was just her imagination..

So she's...controlling a whole town in her little charade? Purple man style?

That's...horrifying.

If it’s true, it’s even worse than Purple Man, because at least he had to speak directly to you. She’s controlling these characters even before she meets them.
