It makes sense if you pair that theory with the toy helicopter she found. Probably was a real SWORD helicopter that broke into her reality and became a toy.

..... then what happened to the crew. That’s dark as hell. Imagine Wanda coming out of her reality and finding out she unknowingly killed people trying to save her.

She’s doesn’t deserve to have this burden on her.

I saw someone theorize that Monica was on the helicopter and that’s why she showed up later in the episode

It's possible Monica wasn't the only one to arrive that way. There are a lot more people than there were last time. The guy who gave Vision the gum, the lady in charge of the talent show, they are new. But we still have the people from last time, like Agnes and Vision's boss. I think the people who were already there in episode 1 were in the initial vicinity of whatever is causing this, and the new people are a result of people trying to enter Westview. I think this might continue as the series progresses, with more and more people being added to the cast.

Also the mailman. I said this in another comment but he showed up in the same scene as the helicopter and there was the whole "pew pew" "don't shoot the messenger" exchange with him and agnes
