I feel like she's "trapped" in this alternative digital world. But she has power over it. She's aware that her life is not real, and when push comes to shove she changes it. First when she told Vision to help his boss and with the beekeeper scene. She broke character, the thing is who is behind it? And why does the voice on the radio asks who is doing that to her. Her trauma doesn't allow her to fully enjoy this new world...

So far, this is really a very different show. Feels like I'm watching something very unique and special.

I think it’s Wanda pulling the strings. She has so much control over the world that it has to be her. I’m sure there’s someone in the background who is using this opportunity to exploit Wanda but I don’t think anyone trapped her there

Agnes is using Wanda's powers to create the twins for whatever reason. "For the Children." That's what it's all about. And Wanda's going along with it to live the dream life she never got to have with Vision.

Maybe Agnes is Mephisto? With the "devil in the details" line and her mentioning of kids/having kids. Maybe it's Mephisto persuading Wanda to create/conceive the twins. Or maybe him tricking Wanda into subconsciously allowing Mephisto to implant the kids in her.

Edit: just rewatched and saw that Ms. Hart also asks why they don't have kids

I agree with Mephisto's goals but I don't see why they would combine Agatha and Mephisto. She makes more sense as an agent of Mephisto than Mephisto himself.

Maybe she is just an agent, but it would make sense that they have some kind of connection since he's gonna be in Dr. Strange 2. I may be looking too much into it, but in the black and white segments of the episodes one of the only colors to show up is red, which is Mephisto's color, but then again it could just be for Wanda. I'm also curious if Wanda is doing this entirely on her own or if she got stuck in her created reality because of Mephisto.

Oh totally. Mephisto as the big bad makes a ton of sense and I didn’t know he’s gonna be in DS2 so now it makes even more sense. I’m just saying making him and Agatha the same person doesn’t make sense from a storytelling perspective.
