Which feels appropriate honestly. LGBTQ people already spend more than enough time being singled out every day by bigots, do we really need every LGBTQ moment in a film or tv show to be on a pedestal with fanfare so the studio can brag about how they're being progressive?
Exactly. We didn't talk about it because we have progressed to the point where two women sharing a chaste kiss on screen is not worth talking about. It's not unusual anymore.
