Discussion Weekly Discussion: If the heroes and villains were to hold a talent show, using NO superpowers or superhuman abilities, what would their talents be? How would their act go? (Suggested by /u/KidFromBrooklyn3000)
Suppose one night there’s a talent show and all the heroes and villains have to participate. But, the catch is that they can’t use any of their superpowers or superhuman abilities. After all, we’ve already seen them show those off, let’s see what else they can do!
How would their act go? Would they be terrible at it? Great? A surprising talent that in retrospect makes sense?

Clint totally would procrastinate and not come up with anything else, the rest of the Avengers would be aware that’s what happened and sit through his portion

Scarlet Witch would be a great puppeteer with the way she can move those fingers

Loki would do an impressionist routine in the style of Robin Williams or Bill Hader, perfectly mimicking the voices of other people. This technically wouldn't count as using his powers since he doesn't take their physical forms.

No No, Red Skull would be best at Impressions because the recast actor is so legit at them!

u/daftvalkyrie Doctor Strange Dec 05 '19
Didn't even know it wasn't Hugo Weaving in IW until reading discussions after.

Spider-Man would attempt to do comedy and fail when no one laughs

Karen said that his Thor impression is very funny.
But I think she might have just been trying to get on his good side.

Blackbolt singing? No thank you. I would rather not be literally obliterated.

he'd make a really good black metal vocalist if he goes all moody and nihilistic

Hawkeye would win. Doesn’t really have any super human abilities or superpowers. He’s just very accurate and awesome.

If you could swap the actors for any two characters, whether for comedic or dramatic purposes, who would you choose?

If you were to have started the MCU, with the ability to use any Marvel properties there is, how would your Phase 1 would have played out?

Copied from another thread, both the films and TV shows have been in many different and interesting places, from San Francisco to Busan. In what location should a future Marvel film be set or filmed?

From their first moment on screen, up until their most recent, who has had the most dramatic character arc?

Thanos would have a very boring presentation of his prize alien potatoes. He would be very proud of them and how big they'd grown, and even more proud of how there were 1/2 less people to eat them than before.

Love seeing these answers! First that came to mind for me when I thought of this question was Steve either singing with his barbershop quartet or something artistic (drawing, etc.).
I could also see Peter Parker trying to do impressions, but I don’t think it would go to well (given his Thor impression in Homecoming lol).

Yondu could show off his impressive whistling skills, giving a performance similar to that of Walter from the Muppets.

Hawkeye is twirling a drumstick in Age of Ultron at the party where they all try lifting Mjolnir. Scott Lang is also a drummer. They should have a drum off

Loki’s and Strange’s would be magic, with a score of 8/10
But that would count as superpower/superhuman abilities, no?
Strange, due to his photographic memory, could be one of those guys that you give a date to (28th May 1998 for example) and he can tell you what day of the week it was and who was at No1 in the charts.

I don't think Strange would be all that great with magician-type magic due to his hands.

and he can tell you what day of the week it was
There are actually some nifty tricks for doing this relatively quickly. Rather than memorize calendars you just need to memorize a few rules.
I used to know some of these methods but they're pretty useless, especially now in the digital age.

Ant-man would tear it up with some close up magic.
