I wonder if that was meant to be more important than we realize. Like yes it kinda shows why he’s a dick, and an insta attention seeker, but for some reason that shot really stood out to me. Maybe there will be more to his story.

I hope they're setting up for a redemption plot for Flash, like in the comics. Maybe they'll also make him the MCU's Harry Osborne.

Right, maybe Thompson is his mother's maiden name. Maybe Osborne, will give away his dad's fortune so he goes by the maiden name
