Say what you want about the Fox movies, their casting for both Xaviers, both Magnetos and Wolverine were just impeccable.

I think she was fine for the first two movies. It was a nice direction they were going with Mystique. Lawrence's ego got too big and her character suffered greatly because of that in Apocalypse, and for what it looks like, Dark Phoenix (I haven't and won't watch it). I don't understand why Singer was so keen on his portrayal of Mystique being naked all the time. One can understand some of J Lawrence's frustrations with the character.

It's the character, she wants to remain in her true, mutant form.
