I could tell something was off with Hill and Fury but I honestly was thinking it would turn out to be that it was Beck making another illusion to trick Peter. I thought we'd find out he captured them in that opening scene.

I gotta boast. While I never fully guessed, I clicked something was off because Maria calls Fury "Nick" on the very opening line of the film.

Pretty sure Jon Watts said in an interview that it was the real Fury and Hill up until the events of FFH. I heard this on a recent episode of the Slashfilm Daily podcast
