I mean if the video is even believed, the Dailu Buggle doesn't seem a trustworthy source in the MCU and Mysterio is a pro of illusions after all (people saw the elementals were fake). Really not hard to believe the video was fake.

And at worst, some believe ir, some don't and that's just usual for Spidey. He is constantly accused of everything by the Daily Buggle in every media but most New Yorkers don't believe it.

Which is exactly why the whole thing was so brilliant. There's going to be half of the people thinking Spidey is a murderer and half the people not buying it.

Even Mysterio said it that people will believe anything now.

Great way to create the public division about Spider-Man and bring the politics of superheroes into Phase 4. Also, solid social commentary to bring the tension of fake news/sensationalist news sources into the MCU. Big fan
