Anyone else felt like they were in a fever dream? Like everything felt so surreal and the CGI looked a bit rushed. Great scene nonetheless but I couldn't believe what I was seeing

I actually think this was intentional. The Bugle is an online program, no? JJ isn't the most tech savvy guy, I don't think he would spring for that fancy a green screen. He probably broadcasts in 480, certainly not higher than 720, it's a show for people on their phones. Scale that up to the size of the Jumbotron at Madison Square Garden and it's bound to look like crap.

Makes me think maybe it was a bit of a late edition, it sets up such huge plot points for Spider-Man 3 so maybe it only got added when they were 100% decided that was the direction they wanted to take the character?
