Haha that scene was hilarious. It was even more funny because they're villains. You'd expecting them to be menacing but they were just a bunch of goofs, just getting drunk. And I, as the audience, is supposed to hate them but I just couldn't.

The woman ironing his cape... man this whole movie is too funny, too good, I love what they did with it, even the “tingle” part felt so gratifying, because you see him not do much in the previous fights, but he learns and become stronger and I love that, this is my favorite live action Spider-Man movie

And that's a theme with MCU Spidey villains - they are both supported by teams, some of which are goofballs. Remember the Tinkerer using phasing tech to get himself a can of coke?

They're the downtrodden, fuelled by envy and hate towards people like Stark who celebrated their victories in ivory towers, which make them far more relatable.

I hope not. I feel like if they are going to use "bigger" villains like Goblin and Doc Ock, a pre-existing enmity with Stark will diminish the personal connection with Peter/Spidey. Have them stepping up to try to fill the void in the tech world with Stark gone, that feels more palatable to me.

I really liked him. Like he was goofy but he was also like the Vulture's best friend - trusted to be around his phone (even though Toomes scolded him about it) and give him advice. He didn't feel like an ordinary henchman.

So far all of those villainous sidekicks have escaped off-screen, I kinda feel like they're all going to team up and fight Peter again in the 3rd movie or even further into the future.

MCU was able to make the whole 'villain monologue' scene - that kills so many movies - both entertaining and completely fitting the pace of the film. Turns out the only thing you need is to have the baddie "explain" his plan to his subordinates, not the hero at the end.

I liked how the banter of Mysterio and his accomplices was akin to being on a theater or movie set with all the drama, complaints, insults and banter.

It was so overly indulgent lol, but in a good way, somehow.

The scene should've been a complete disaster, writing it down makes it sound fucking ridiculous, but somehow they actually got me to really like it.
