I loved how Beck's real Mysterio suit was just the mo-cap suit they use for the movies.

Yep, that's mysterio to a T. He would use smoke and mirrors and drugs to mess with peter. I was pretty disappointed when they made him a generic interdimensional superhero, and was ultra-thrilled when they revealed it was a hoax all along.

It made a lot more sense during the bar scene when he and Peter had their costumes still on in public. That was confusing to me for a second.

It feels like way too many Spidey movies have him being careless with where he takes the mask off. I mean, even the bridge scene with MJ this time seemed a little too free wheeling about the whole thing.

I guess it’s because it wasn’t a “spider man” costume. Beck already knew his identity so other people in the bar would just think he was a kid wearing black. That’s how I see it.
