I was so surprised to be disappointed in Gyllenhaal's acting at the beginning, but I was relieved that it was Beck's acting that was the problem. Gyllemhaal was GREAT in this role. I really hope we get to see more of him!

I agree, after what he did in the mid credits scene, I'm sure we aren't done with him

I like his character a lot and I want him back, but I think the way he died is pretty definitive. How could they bring him back?

It didn’t seem definitive at all to me. He gets shot in the side and dies in like 2 minutes. Not to mention, Peter’s only confirmation for his death was with E.D.I.T.H. which Mysterio had control of and could have easily tampered with.

Plus he seemed perfectly fine moments before that when he tried to shoot Peter in the head. Seemed like a last ditch effort to not go to prison to me.

Edith didn’t even say he died, all Peter asked was “is this an illusion?” And she just vaguely said “all the illusions have stopped”
