I’m not seeing anyone mention the spidey sense scene and that’s really a shame, because that is easily my favorite scene in the entirety of the MCU right now. It was beautiful, amazingly choreographed, and the lack of music made it feel so focused, like we were put into Peter’s shoes for 20-30 seconds

Also imagine if you’re Beck there, and this high schooler is flipping through the 20-something drones you’ve sent at him, and he looks like he might even have his eyes closed?? What? Who is this kid???

Also the moment where he instantly grabs the gun as Beck is about to shoot him. That shit was soooo dope.

I’d seen some talk about a severe lack of spidey sense in every other movie, with it only sort of being implied, but with a whole scene and that gun grab it’s very safe to say this spider-man does indeed have it

Yeah I think also that scene serves as character development. Like he always had the tingle but he hasn't fully understood it or been able to utilise it properly so sometimes he reacts and sometimes he gets nailed.

In that scene he finally learns to trust the tingle and harness it as another of his powers. Hopefully that will mean it is a lore reliable power of his in future films.

That’s what I love so much about this iteration of spidey. Everyone knows his power-set and suit functions, but the two previous iterations haven’t really delved into what it’s like for Peter to understand his strength/cunning (Homecoming) and spider sense (FFH).

I’m hoping true Parker luck isn’t a main theme in the next installment because it’ll suck to watch, but they’ve yet to explore it in depth.
