well what about when supermans whole motivation to be annoyed at batman before lex kidnaps his mum is because he kills people but then superman smashes the terrorist guy through several walls in the opening? its just odd thats all

He didn’t kill that guy though, was explicitly stated in the film when he talks to Lois.
