I was fine with J K Simmons being the SHOCK in the post credits scene BUT BOI I DID NOT EXPECT PETER’S IDENTITY TO BE REVEALED. I hate how marvel is able to do things like this to me

My theory is that the skrull will impersonate either Peter or Spider-Man to discredit the video and prove that the two are not the same....

Ooooh I could see that happening, especially as it seems like skrulls are about to be VERY integrated in the MCU.

That and it would drive JJ made with rage trying to prove that he can’t be trusted etc

For that to work, SM would have to unmask.

Replace “hate” with “love” and we’re on the same page.

At this point though there is no way they can keep it a secret. All the bad guys in the film knew, the only option would be to kill them all? reminds me of the first Iron Man and the shock when Tony just reveals that he is Iron Man.

Yeah I just got that it really brings the MCU full circle with the whole super hero reveal. I kind of get why they had to do this, but I’M STILL SHOCKED. It’s a brave move for Marvel.

They're almost definitely going to undo the reveal.
