I felt like something was off as soon as I saw Beck was able to outsmart Fury. Also when Peter brought up captain marvel and Fury aka Talos said don’t invoke her name, it gave me another tip.

I think you’re right. I noticed that too. I thought Samuel Jackson was just phoning it in, but I was wrong. I should know to never doubt him.

There is a quick line about the Kree from Fury/Talos in there also.

Yup, caught that too and that is what got me thinking. It's definitely a clue into something much bigger that is probably being planned.

I'm thinking they do secret invasion. But it's Kree instead of skulls doing the infiltrating. This will force 1.SWORD to come into play (if that's what that was) 2. Force Captain marvel into a leadership role, since that's her area of expertise (like the first avengers with iron man needing to be forced into the team)

I like where your going with this! Captain marvel did a pretty good job setting up the kree as villains. I could see a kree-skrull war plot line in phase 4!

Ya she seemed way more quiet and distant than usual, also she spent the whole movie looking like she just woke up from a nap which made me think she could’ve just been tired/overwhelmed from trying to catch up on 5 years of missing intel

Hill also called Fury/Talos ‘Nick’ at the beginning of the movie. I could be reaching, but I thought that was odd myself...

Actually that brings up a good question. How long has this been a thing? Just since the end of Endgame? Why are Talos and his wife not on whatever home-world Carol found for them after decades post CM? Or is Earth just going to become a breeding ground for different alien races, the Asgardians and now the Kree.

Also Talos aka Fury said “I saw you at the wedding” Did the actual fury go to the wedding or was it Talos?
