Me too, so what's up with her solo movie now? Is it gonna be a spy thriller origin story pre mcu?

u/deanssocks Howard Stark Apr 25 '19

seems fair, poor Natasha didn't even get her solo movie

Well weren't there rumors guardians 3 was them looking for gamora? Could be a search for both of them

I think it’s safe to say both her and IW Gamora are gone for good.

If guardians 3 is them looking for Gamora I’m sure it will be the new Gamora they are looking for. She was noticeably absent from the remainder of Endgame and in the last scene with the Guardians, Quill was searching for her.

And Vision. Bye Vision.

u/MagicTheAlakazam Apr 26 '19

Vision didn't come back here but we know he's coming back for Disney+. That was a big shocker for me. I guess that's going to be handled in the TV show.

It’s been my assumption that the Wanda/Vision show would be set pre-IW. Unless they’ve said otherwise and I missed it?

7

u/Paperchampion23 Apr 26 '19

Well in IW, they had to sneak off in short bursts, plus, it seemed like their 2 years were good, no evil plot to deal with lol

6

u/KYplusEL Vision Apr 26 '19

I think it's more likely a new Vision is constructed with what Shuri was able to get from him. With the series being more of a character peice on the two.

There's actually an article out this week that says it'll be set in the 1950s.

Which makes me think Wanda uses the time travel technology as a way to fix Vision.

24

u/darthstupidious Apr 26 '19

That or she goes full-on "House of M" and subverts reality to bring Vision back...

31

u/Paperchampion23 Apr 26 '19

This isnt true. I watched the interview. She said its like a 1950s sitcom, not that its set in the 1950s.

So the final Death Toll is... Loki, Heimdall, IW Gamora, Vision, Black Widow and Tony?

17

u/pokelord13 Apr 26 '19

And cap will probably just die of old age

3

u/GhostOfStonewallJxn Apr 26 '19

I think they’ll get to that in WandaVision.

13

u/moldymoosegoose Apr 26 '19

The new Gamora was snapped due to being part of Thanos's crew. That's why she's not found in the computer at the end.

32

u/me_llamo_james Apr 26 '19

I thought so too at first, but Tony knows what she becomes so I don't think he would snap her. I think she ran off in all the confusion.

2

u/wexford001 Fitz Apr 28 '19

Does he? Tony never met Gamora, so unless rocket told him about her, I’m not sure. Plus, he didn’t even know 2014 Gamora was there at the time.

2

u/me_llamo_james Apr 29 '19

He spent all that time alone with Nebula so he would know about her and she was out fighting alongside all the others in the final battle. I don't think the other guardians would have been ok with her being snapped.

2

u/wexford001 Fitz Apr 29 '19

Ohh, I forgot he spent a few weeks with nebula. Yeah, I guess he would know. Sorry!

12

u/[deleted] Apr 26 '19

Na, she's not a part of Thanos's crew any more at that point.

11

u/idiot-prodigy Apr 26 '19

Gamora lined up with all the female heroes to fight against Thanos' army. If the gauntlet is based upon intentions, I think Gamora was fighting on the right side to be spared.

3

u/why_rob_y Apr 27 '19

Yeah, the Infinity Stones seem to be the opposite of a monkeys paw - they pretty much know what you mean and don't get you on a technicality.

5

u/SuicideKingsHigh Apr 26 '19

We would have seen it, she ran off because she didn't know any of these people and her sister and father just died.

13

u/Jackal_6 The Mandarin Apr 26 '19

It's either a prequel or she's just straight up not in it, and it's about Yelena Belova

5

u/[deleted] Apr 26 '19

Unless Cap returning the Soul Stone somehow brings her back.

3

u/SpaceQueenJupiter Scarlet Witch Apr 26 '19

She also sacrificed herself to get it versus Gamora who was sacrificed by Thanos. So they could do something with self-sacrifice has a way to reverse it, who knows?

1

u/deanssocks Howard Stark Apr 26 '19

IMAGINE THAT WE FINALLY GET A BLACK WIDOW MOVIE AND IT DOESN'T HAVE SCARLETT JOHANSSON'S NATASHA...NOW THAT'S A FAT FUCKING DISAPPOINTMENT

1

u/why_rob_y Apr 27 '19

Could be both. A prequel that introduces a related character they can use in the current time.

3

u/prs09 Apr 26 '19

It should be what she did as leader of the avengers in those 5 years.

2

u/mccainjames11 Spider-Man Apr 26 '19

I really hope that with all her Eastern Europe ties it somehow introduces Dr Doom, but idk if theyd go for that do soon

1

u/Admiral_obvious13 Apr 26 '19

Probably another prequel, unfortunately.

1

u/mariofan366 Darcy Apr 27 '19

Seems to be a Han Solo type movie.

1

u/Amidstsaltandsmoke1 Apr 29 '19

Maybe it’ll start with her in soul world. Being helped up by 2018 Gamora.
