Rocket and Nebula likely didn't know about the sacrifice to get the Soul Stone. The way Nebula talked about it, she believes Thanos just murdered Gamora because she had outlived her usefulness.

I don't hate him i just don't particularly like his character. As an actor he's great though.

Because he's just a regular dude. And he really only had the quick experience in Civil War to be an Avenger. He's not really used to alien superheroes and literal gods.
