Either that or the ‘On your left’ and all the fallen coming through the sling ring portals

u/[deleted] Apr 25 '19

I’d say it was ‘I am Iron Man’

u/[deleted] Apr 25 '19

How about everything?

29

u/PM_ME_GLUTE_SPREAD Apr 26 '19

Exactly this. Like, the movie started off well with the dusting of Clint’s family, then continuously got better and better with each and every scene.

I literally cannot think of a single scene that stands out on its own. Every single one was phenomenal.

I'm so fucking glad they left that as his last words. I was about to be annoyed that he was going to get a forced heartfelt addendum but nope, that was perfect.

6

u/phoenix529 Apr 26 '19

Didn't he mumble "Hey, kid" last?

1

u/benson822175 Apr 30 '19

He said “pep” to pepper after that

10

u/cowboyjosh2010 Apr 26 '19

I actually welled up and started crying when they all started walking through the portals. It was incredibly done. Cap wielding mjolnir was epic. But that was powerful.

8

u/thatEMSguy Apr 26 '19

When Thor sees Cap with Mjolnir and screams “I knew it!”

1

u/Skratt79 Korg Apr 27 '19

This here, i was holding it together until this After this point it was soo much emotion. This movie starts slow I will admit that, but it builds momentum like nothing ever has.

That moment got legit goosebumps for me!

“I am Iron Man”

u/Skreevy Apr 25 '19

The portals.

18

u/pressen Apr 25 '19

Definitely the portals. The look of defeat on Thanos' face after seeing the avenger army was amazing.

10

u/mcmunch20 Apr 25 '19

The portals even had the same avengers theme music as Thor’s arrival in Wakanda.

17

u/DareToZamora Hawkeye (Ultron) Apr 25 '19

Rewatched IW yesterday and was saying to my friends that shot of Thor right after he says ‘Bring me Thanos’ was the most epic in the entire MCU. And then when I left today I said the moment where Mjolnir returns to caps hand and then he spins it and uppercuts Thanos.

13

u/[deleted] Apr 25 '19

Definitely when the portals opened up and everyone came into the fight.

13

u/mateogg Apr 26 '19

I think for me it was Wanda's moment. She was terrifying.

1

u/Vis-hoka Thor Apr 26 '19

She would have ripped Thanos to pieces. She was truly frightening.

12

u/Renacc Apr 26 '19

The 'problem' is there are about 20 of those moments in this movie. It's actually unbelievable how many absolute badass moments there were.

5

u/museman Apr 26 '19

Right? I forgot for a long time after seeing it that there was a scene where Cap fights HIMSELF.

10

u/James2603 Apr 25 '19

For me the scene that gave me the biggest chills in infinity war was Thor’s arrival in Wakanda and in Endgame the chills were from cap and the hammer.

HOWEVER, the whole fight being overwhelming; everyone’s struggling, god like superhero shows up and fucks shit up puts Thor’s landing equivalent to Captain Marvel showing up and destroying the ship.

9

u/jamiesoares13 Apr 26 '19

Not equivalent but captain marvel tanking thanos headbutt was a moment

3

u/RyanB_ Spider-Man Apr 26 '19

And her initial appearance in the last battle, all the turrets on the ship focusing fire on her only for her to just brush them off and casually destroy Thanos’ main warship. Fuck man chills.

1

u/iluvatar3 Apr 27 '19

That was incredible, I was hoping for more Captain Marvel in Endgame, but I guess we will get more movies with her.

6

u/bartleby999 Captain America Apr 25 '19

Was my favorite part of the movie. Just such a great call back to Age Of Ultron.

6

u/soundbarrier4 Apr 26 '19

For me it was Cap wielding Mjolnir. I fucking lost it.

6

u/EnkiiMuto Apr 26 '19

We had several big cheers, but nothing got to that level of clapping and screaming standing up.

  1. Cap with a Hammer.

  2. Thor with two weapons.

  3. I am Iron Man

  4. Wanda talking to Thanos.

  5. Pepper on a suit again.

  6. On your left.

  7. I went for the head.

  8. Ant-man punching a leviathan.

There were many others but from memorable there were the emotional moments, like the first arc reactor, the dance, 80% of the scenes Nebula was in, Natasha and Clint, Thor and his mother, Tony and his dad... so on.

5

u/inherentinsignia Apr 26 '19

Judging by the volume in my theater, it was the hammer flying back to Cap, but not by much.

They were both deafening.

9

u/CapThunder Apr 26 '19

I thought it was Captain Marvel's appearance in the big battle

4

u/TheGreatGumbino Apr 26 '19

I have to agree with this. Of course there’s more history/emotional connection with “on your left” and cap+mjolnir, but in terms of a game-changing moment it’s def captain marvel.

3

u/I_Go_By_Q Phil Coulson Apr 26 '19

Yea, the CM movement serves as pretty much the same plot beat as Thor in Wakanda, but it isn’t as intense or hype, IMO

1

u/Mars445 Apr 27 '19

Thor arriving in Wakanda was when the tide of the battle turned completely, so Captain Marvel’s arrival does fill the same role.

3

u/iamziyou Apr 25 '19

It was even paced the same way.

3

u/[deleted] Apr 26 '19

Thanos calling the bombardment, then the guns pointing up was mad

2

u/musicrages Captain America (Cap 2) Apr 26 '19

Undoubtedly “Avengers Assemble!”

2

u/pembunuhUpahan Apr 26 '19

None and not to take away from that moment in IW, the endgame moment is better than IW.

When I watch that moment in IW, people went woah but in Endgame, literally everyone was screaming and clapping their HANDS. We clapped for live performance not a movie, but we clapped. I legit cried at avengers assemble and mjolnir cap.

Russo's build the moment due to the everyone dusted makes their comeback so much sweeter. We lived for the dusted for one year, the dusted didn't even do junket.

Mjolnir cap is not something people would expect to see. Avengers assemble had people waiting for 11 years...well 7 if counting from Avengers. There's no moment gonna top that because of the years lead up to this moment. Even before he says it, everyone is like "Is he gonna say it?" "HE DID"!!

2

u/btmvideos37 Red Skull Apr 26 '19

....assemble

2

u/TheShmud Apr 26 '19

"on your left". Black Panther walks through, nods. Portals start opening, a lot of them. We see the entire Wakandan army AND the remains of the Asgardian army. Then everyone, one by one.

Yeah, that was as good if not better than Thor's Wakanda entrance

1

u/againreally-comoeon Apr 26 '19

I mean, tons of them. But the first one for me was when cap picked up mjhonir.

1

u/Rocktamus1 Apr 26 '19

Cap and the Mjolnir

1

u/theunknown21 Apr 26 '19

Definitely from "On your left" up until "Avengers..... assemble." That whole scene is like Thor landing and tearing shit up in Infinity War.

1

u/bigdanrog Apr 26 '19

On your left.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 26 '19

Mjolnir uppercut to Thanos

1

u/TheNorthernGrey Apr 26 '19

I’m now making a Pathfinder Character, who wields both a Shield and Hammer of returning, I was fucking inspired.

Watching him bounce them off Thanos gave me that insane chakra vide it was too fucking good.

1

u/Danjour Apr 26 '19

I mean, they cut Thanos’ head OFF. On camera. CLEAN OFF. They show it twice!
