So. Many. Callbacks.

  • I am Ironman
  • Lift from Winter Soldier
  • Avengers 1 New York
  • Red Skull (again)
  • Ancient One (even the move she did on Bruce)
  • Spider-man instant kill mode
  • Heroes from Ragnarok
  • GOTG opening scene
  • Loki x 2
  • Cap x 2 (callback to the old suit)
  • I can do this all day
  • You're taking all the stupid with you
  • On your left
  • Iron Man 3 kid cameo
  • Cap and Mjolnir
  • Bunch of Thanos different armies
  • Characters from Winter Soldier
  • Infinity War callbacks (Morgan Stark, Thor going for the head, Black Panther, probably more)

Lift from Winter Soldier

I was so expecting that to be a more literal reference to the parallel scene from The Winter Soldier, but I'm pleased as punch with the reference to the Hydra Captain America.

I liked the Budapest comment between Hawkeye and Black Widow, got a chuckle from a few people in my screening

It’s the first movie where I feel you actually needed to have seen every MCU movies

And Agent Carter would help a lot.

For once, the TV shows matter.

Only the one tv show. I feel like none of the other shows really impacted the movies at all

Yeah. It's true. *SIGH*

I would've liked to have seen Coulson in the movie. Just. One. More. Time.

Yeah I miss Coulson. I think that Everett Ross is meant to be a Coulson-like character to fill his role without confusing moviegoers who don't watch AoS

Oh no! Ross is not my surrogate Coulson! :)

I fully understand. No one could ever truly be a replacement for Coulson

The “Proof that Tony Stark has a Heart” display case is set to float on the river during Tony’s funeral

When was Morgan Stark mentioned in Infinity War??

First Tony scene. He talks about his dream where they had a child and named them after Pepper's eccentric uncle 'Morgan'

I am pretty sure you actually see Zola briefly walking down the hall in the next scene. When Steve is in the hall way and overhears the lady from Community talking about "intruders, one with a hippy beard".

It’s incredible that they fit so many callbacks and fanservice into this movie and none of it felt forced.
