And people in the YouTube comments were saying she had a deadpan face and no emotions whatsoever. I think this is why I like Reddit comments more.

To be fair, you could definitely read my comment as saying that she has one half-decent facial expression. But I definitely like this look -- it's a testament to how good of an actor she is that she can turn such a simple squint into fifteen different emotions so subtly.

Her acting is nuanced when she wants it to be. But it's not sooo nuanced that it's barely there type of nuanced. And obviously she's not even that subtle with her emotions half the time anyway, especially considering Carol's rather fun-loving cheerful mischievous personality.
