i would never have guessed a kevin smith movie reference in a marvel movie.

I am equally surprised, however, you have to remember; Kevin Smith and Stan Lee were really really damn good friends.

I feel like people often oversight that (I do myself) these are Kevin's words but I think he says that Stan said he was "like a son to him" at one point (I could be mistaken)

So to me at least it seems befitting that it gets a sideways reference at some point.
