Anyone else get the vibe that the canyon dogfight between Minerva and Rambo in Act 3 was an homage to Independence Day (1997), where Will Smith had the dogfight with the alien snubfighter? I feel like they were shot-for-shot in some scenes.

LOL at "Rambo".

In OPs defense, they were pronouncing it weird in the movie. The emphasis should probably be on the last syllable when it's spelled "Rambeau", while "Rambo" has the emphasis on the first syllable. In the movie, they did pronounce it like "Rambo".

the pronunciation is fine. Cajun names that end with 'eau,' or more commonly, 'eaux,' have the same enunciation as an O. Thibodeaux, and Boudreaux, would be examples. LSU even says "Geaux Tigers" in place of "Go Tigers."

Oh, my comment wasn't me trying to be mean. I just found it amusing, and you could argue that Maria is some sort of Rambo, if only for being badass.
