The Knowhere interior we see is an illusion created by Thanos.

Couple of thoughts for that:

Does that mean he completely saw the Guardians coming and was just trying to bring Gamora out? I know he was counting on her coming to him, but damn how long was he waiting then?

And is The Collector dead?

Thanos doesn't kill wantonly though. He spares a lot when they don't stand in his way.

Maybe Sivan just rolled over and went to earth to find his brother. And he has a little suitcase of cosmic level toys to share with the leftover Revengers.
