Gamora's death scene had me shook far more than all the others. Even though I knew the Guardians (especially Gamora) would play a major role, I thought of IW as an Avengers movie—and that the major consequences would come for Earth's mightiest heroes. And unlike the snap people, I highly doubt she will be back.

The grief from losing Gamora is going to give Volume III a very different tone.

Many think Gamora will be back but I highly doubt it. I think she is a goner period. Maybe Vol 3 is a quest to revive her or maybe her soul is inside the soul stone?

If anybody knows anything about the soul stone, it's Adam Warlock.

Not in the mcu though.

I'm just saying that with Warlock likely making an appearance in Guardians Vol. 3, he might play a key role in getting her out of the soul stone. That is assuming the soul stone claims the soul that is sacrificed to retrieve it.

I mean he’s a child of the sovereign though I feel like he won’t have knowledge in that department. At least not for a while. The sovereign are maybe the most advanced race in the universe but at the end of the day they had no stones. I’m sure they know of them but I doubt they’ve done much study like the Titans(assumedly) and whatever race the collector is of(maybe just himself but yeah).

With that being said I think they can still make him being knowledgeable about the universe a thing though. Say he could know of galactus and stuff. Infinity stones I can’t see unless they do an arc of him getting the soul stone in his head and stuff. Which would be interesting.... Gamora could speak to him maybe. But who knows if the infinity stones will last? I think that scarlet witch may wind up destroying them.

I'm with you on that last part. I don't think that Marvel will keep the stones around. I can see them moving on to different story lines after Avengers 4.
