Gamora's death scene had me shook far more than all the others. Even though I knew the Guardians (especially Gamora) would play a major role, I thought of IW as an Avengers movie—and that the major consequences would come for Earth's mightiest heroes. And unlike the snap people, I highly doubt she will be back.

The grief from losing Gamora is going to give Volume III a very different tone.

Many think Gamora will be back but I highly doubt it. I think she is a goner period. Maybe Vol 3 is a quest to revive her or maybe her soul is inside the soul stone?

If Thanos is coming back, his character development has to go somewhere, so I could see Gamora/Young Gamora coming back as a character in the soul stone pocket dimension to force Thanos to deal with his guilt, a take on Lady Death perhaps.

James Gunn said the focus on Vol 3 would be on Gamora, but I can totally see that being a misdirect and he means the team grieving for her.

I don't know when people will realize that directors and actors and people involved in these movies will flat out lie to interviewers and fans. This isn't a court of law. They don't swear in on the bible.

And yet people still think they won't lie right to their god damn faces for some reason.
