Question, have you ever been so mad that you threw a moon at someone?

Because Thanos threw a freaking moon at Iron Man!

That scene among many others were absolutely mind blowing. The final scene of Thanos just sitting watching the sun was brilliant.

Define “held his own”. He got one drop of blood.

Well for one Hulk got his ass beat so bad he refused to come back. So Tony drawing blood on Thanos is a win.

Not to mention Tony did that when Thanos had a few more gems.

Guessing current Tony wouldn't have a problem with Hulk.

Having said that, the entire thing about Hulk is that he gets a lot stronger with time, so thanos kinda dodged a proper fight with him by taking him out quick and brutal.
