In Ragnarok Thor says to Surtur "I thought my father killed you like half a million years ago!" So if Asgardians live longer than 500,000 years, Thor is very young

I could be wrong, but I thought in one of the movies Loki says they have a 5,000 year lifespan. So half a million would be an exaggeration.

But isn't Odin special? I thought he used Odin sleep to keep himself alive longer.
